Bering’s “time to care” limited edition, slim ceramic watch
is detailed with black or white elements and sits shining in gold or silver
tones.
The slim ceramic style is
specifically designed for the uniquely styled, limited edition watch, and is
accented with four diamonds covered by a scratch resistant sapphire glass.
Creating only 1,000 pieces, 100% of the
limited edition, slim ceramic “time to care” watch’s net profits are donated to
Polar Bear International, who solely dedicates all of its resources to the
preservation of the polar bear and their habitat, the rapidly melting arctic
tundra.
Released in the summer of 2012,
the slim ceramic and diamond watch is specifically designed to resemble the
threatened species the polar bear.
After
much success from the “time to care” charity campaign, Bering continues its
partnership with Polar Bear International by adopting a mother polar bear and
her two babies living in Hudson Bay.
Sadly, due to the melting tundra, resulting from climate change, the
polar bear species and home are threatened with extinction.
Bering has vowed to support the preservation
and protection of the polar bear by joining Polar Bear International’s tracking
program, tracking the mother polar bear they adopted.
By tracking the bear, Bering is able to
assist Polar Bear International with the gathering of data.
This data can help scientists better
understand the polar bear’s habits and interactions with their habitat.
And with that, scientist can put forth the
best set of reminders, rules and regulations for polar bears, other species and
humans to live beneficially to one another.
