Week 4 BOC "There's an App for That"
Creating a free app, allowing the user to design and make
clothes, from the fabric selection to pattern cutting would be awesome. Users would have the ability to access a
number of fabrics, which would be categorized by fabric weight. Users will also be able to create their own
patterns, and they can create as many patterns as they wish, then archive their
favorites. In this app, the users will also
be able to place the pattern and cut anywhere on the fabric they please. Once the fabric is cut, app users will be
able to control the sewing machine when piecing together the garment, by
swiping their finger across the screen.
The app also includes cool features that let the user choose buttons,
pocket style, cuffs, sleeves, type of stitch and other various design details
that go into the creation of a garment.
Once the garment is created, the user will then be able to upload their
garment to the social network site of their choice. The app itself provides the user a clientele
with specific style types, and the user has the option to style and sell their
garments to their in-app clients. Now
ask yourself, “Is there an app for that?”
